Anime Time!

I apologize for not posting in so long! I've have been super busy in the last few weeks so don't shun me! Haha just kidding :)

I have been sick with some crazy stomach flu that makes me throw up everytime I eat (-_-'). Here's a formula!

Sharona + flu = hunger (=_=) hungry + sharona = anger >:(
Which means...
Sharona + flu + hunger + anger = LAZY RAGE!!!!!!!

This pretty much meas that whithout my food, I become super lazy and grumpy! That explains why I haven't been posting that much anymore. Now that I'm able to eat --kinda-- I am ready to blog again!

Now let's get to the point. While I was sick, I could do nothing but sit around and sleep. So I decided I would watch some of my favorite mangas in anime form! I watched three total and there all freakishly long! O_o. Since I WANT you to watch these anime's and read the manga, I will only tell you what the book/anime is about.

1) TOKYO MEW MEW

This book is about Ichigo, a twelve year old girl, being transformed in to a crime fighting, butt-kicking Mew Mew. A mew mew is a human with the genes of an animal added to make you a super human/animal. Ichigo and her five partners, Mint, Pudding, Lettuce, and Zakuro, figting the aliens who are trying to take the earth for their own people. Ichigo has to juggle all of this while balancing her love life.

2) FULL MOON

Full Moon is a story about another twelve year old girl who loves singing but isn't able to because of having a tumor in her throat. One day, two Shinigamis, Takuto and Meroko, show up to monitor her life and unexpectedly, Mitsuki can see them (you're not supposed to be able to see them)! Then she makes a request to be turned sixteen and have her throat healed so she could audition to be a singer. Through out the series, the trio go through many challenges while Mitsuki desparately tried to find her love, Eichi.

3) Kamichama Karin

Kamichama Karin was the second manga series I ever read. This is the story of a hopeless girl named Karin whose parents and kitten died. All she has from her parents is a ring. One day while mourning at her pets grave, she meet a boy named Kazune. Later in the story, when talking to Kazune and his cousin Himeka, Karin's ring let out a huge burst of light. Later, she finds out from Kazune that her ring is actually a ring that lets certain people turn into Gods and goddeses. Thoughout this story, they battle Kiriko Karasuma in a battle to save Himeka.

I have always loved these three mangas and all of them have EPIC endings! If you don't read these, you are crazy for missing out on great stories. I STRONGLY RECCOMEND YOU READ THE MANGA FIRST! Don't watch the anime first because they always change the story around. GO READ EM NOW!!!

Google vs. Bing

I'm sure most of you internet surfers need to find something, you automatically go to Google

Yes Google

Not only is Google well known, it's the most used search in the whole world! Well I'm sure we all know that...

Oh wait, now all of us...

Bing doesn't seem to realize that!

Bing is a new website that is basically Microsoft trying to copy google.
They try to make the home page more beautiful by adding a background. All that does is distract you from what you were searching until you forget what you came to that website for! THEY ARE REPELLING THEIR OWN USERS! epic fail

Google's traditional plain white background helps you concentrate on what you're searching and gives you many helpful websites.

Well I put poth of these search engines to the Sharona Test! Which ever pulled up my name or blog FIRST, is the winner!

Let's start with Bing:

S.h.a.r.o.n.a..... WTF the damn search made me spell my whole name!!!
I think Google will do better!

Now for Google's turn!:

S.h.a.r... I only need FOUR letters to get my name and blog! REMARKABLE!

Well obviously the winner is GOOGLE!!!  It is by far the best search engine. Bing is just stupid. It will never get my approval! NEVER!!!
I will always use Google for searching and you should too! :)

I Signed Up for SocialSpark!

About three days ago, while I was adding my new link to the Blogger's Choice Awards, I saw an add for a blog advertisement site called SocialSpark.

Of course me being so curious, I clicked on it! At first, I thought it was another cheessy spamming site so I looked at there information.

I then found out how many people use SocialSpark and I instantly signed up for an account! I had been looking for another great blogging community! Unlike Nuffnang, SocialSpark is for people worldwide and not just the Asia-Pacific.

SocialSpark is a community where bloggers and advertisers unite! It is easy to sign up. It just asks a few questions then VOILA!...you have yourself an account. When you have created an account on SocialSpark (as a blogger), you add your blog to your profile and all of your blog posts show up. This makes it easier for advertisers to find your blog and contact you. On your account home page, it shows many different advertisers who are offering money for you to either blog about them or put their add on your website. Right now, I am still exploring the wonders of SocialSpark but so far, I live it!

I reccomend SocialSpark to all bloggers who want increased traffic to their blog as well as money from advertisers. Go check out SocialSpark NOW!

Goodbye Piinkcess, Hello Sharona!

I'm sure if you've looked at my blog in the past two days you've noticed a few changes. Some of them would be like:
-me changing my Twitter name
-my new award nomination
-my new link

and something else... oh yeah! My new pen name! For those who don't know, before I was Sharona, my pen name was Piinkcess.

There's a number of reasons why I changed it but my biggest reason is that it felt childish to me! When I get older, people aren't going to take someone called Piinkcess serious! I wanted a more grown name. One that more people would respect.

Well it may seem like it took me forever to create a new name. Well sorry to dissapoint you but it took only 5 hours. The first hour was me randomly thinking of names that seemed grown. That didn't help. The next three hours, I was rapidly searching Google and Ask for good pen names for bloggers. That didn't work out either! The last hour of me looking for a good pen name was me sitting in my bedroom with a notebook and a pen writing down names and switching around the letters. By then I was desperate! It was then when I wrote my aunt's name down and added the letter 'a.' Here is an equation for the math geeks :P
Sharon + a = Sharona!

And that's how the name Sharona was born into my life! So now I am no longer Piinkcess: the piink princess; I am now...
SHARONA!: the awesome blogging teen!

My New Guinea Pig

Before I start talking about my new pen name, I have a new pet!

A guinea pig!
I got her on satayrday from Petsmart! It took forever for me to name her! But I finnaly thought she looked kinda like a coconut and I named her that! For short, I call her Coco :D

I was so upset about Vanilla dying that I needed anther pet to cheer me up. Yes, I know I sound greedy. When I first went to Petsmart after school on Friday, I rushed to the small animals section and there on display were three outrageously cute guinea pigs! One was black and white and super fuzzy! Another was black and brown and eating a carrot. Then, I saw 'THE ONE.' The last one was brown, white, and blonde and running around the cage like a mad woman! That's when I knew she was the right guinea pig for me. Wow, I sounded like a lovestruck twilight fan haha! *feels the irony*

Sadly, I was short on time and I couldn't get her just yet. I was so upset when the workers said I couldn't reserve Coconut. I vowed to myself that I would wake up at 8:45 and get to Petsmart right when it opens.

The next day...
I woke up at 8:45 and of course I had to drag my mom out of bed to drive me there! I legit SPRINTED inside the store to see that no one had claimed her yet! A lady named Tonya, who worked at the store, remembered me from the day before.

Tonya was uber nice and was really helpful because she had two guinea pigs herself. She helped me get all the supplies and gave really good tips on how to take care of them. I found out they also poop a lot...

When Tonya went into the huge guinea pig habitat and picked up Coco and handed her to me. I cuddled her close to me and she FELL ASLEEP! It was the cutest thing ever! I felt so horrible when I had to put her in a take home box. She looked so sad :(

Finally when I got home, I had a total blonde moment and tried setting up her cage upside down T_T. When I got that set up, I had to:
-put in the bedding
-put her PINK house in
-put her food and food bowl in
-put up the hay holder
-fill up the hay holder with hay
-put in the water bottle...

...and put her in her cage. That was the hard part. Thinking she would be calm like before and lay in my arms again, the spazzed out and jumped into the cage. She then proceded to hide BEHIND her house and not IN it.

Sadly I had to go finish a project at a friends house. When I got back, she was still hiding!

After a few hours, she went into her house. I then called petsmart and asked why she acted so wierd. They then told me that because she's only two months old and is in a new home, that she would be very scared and shy. They also told me that she wouldn't let me hold her for the first week or so.

In an attempt to show Coco she was safe here, I sat on the ground next to her cage for a hour and showed her that everything was ok. It ACTUALLY WORKED! She came out of her house and started to eat and drink water and explore the cage. Then I tried to stand and she sprinted back in her house!

On Sunday, she actually let me hold her for the first time at home!

I felt so acomplished!

I also found out guinea pigs are photogenic too! Haha I had to camwhore her :3

That would have to be my favorite photo of her! I totally pwned the petsmart people's expectations :P.

Up until now, she let's me hold her all the time! She has also learned how to make that cute little guinea pig noise they make all the time!
This made my day better because her picture is the first one ever taken on my new iPhone 3g S! My old iPhone broke!

I will be adding more piccies of Coconut soon so stay tuned :)
